[Movies] The Latest on Saw VI (SPOILERS)

Warning, spoilers inside, do not read if you do not want to know…
- Saw VI wrapped up principal photography this month, and Bloody-Disgusting was able to get all kinds of goodies on the film from some of the cast. Starring in Saw VI is Costas Mandylor as Detective Hoffman, Mark Rolston as FBI Agent Erickson, Betsy Russell as Jill (Jigsaw's former wife), Tobin Bell as Jigsaw, Shawnee Smith as Amanda, and Peter Outerbridge as William. The film will follow Hoffman, the successor of Jigsaw's legacy, who is on the run from the FBI. The FBI finally draws close, Hoffman starts a game into motion, and finally, we will understand Jigsaw's grand scheme.
- Costas Mandylor, who plays Hoffman, spoke about the 6th film, saying the following…
"The maturity of Tobin's character shows the rough edges Hoffman is still showing. (Hoffman) sort of torn of becoming a mad man or becoming a guy that's more composed, coming from a pure place like Jigsaw. That's my character's dilemma; does he go (expletive) crazy or follow the rules of the boss?"
- Mandylor also discussed the role of Jigsaw's former wife, Jill…
"You find out a little more about if Jill is good or evil. Pretty much you'll know (in Saw VI). I don't know if it was ever answered in the previous ones if I knew he was a killer. We will find out in this one that I do know that about him,"
- Betsy Russell (Jill) followed up on that, saying…
"We have an amazing love affair and I have a reason to be with him. She is definitely in the present main plot, as well as, flashbacks with more backstory to answer more questions."
- Director Kevin Greutert had the following to say on the film…
"To me, (Saw VI) has finality to it and that's something I've always wanted to see in the series. Obviously, there was finality to Saw III but to me; this is the end of a second trilogy."
